NBA Fullcourt Report, Tue. Dec. 12

Six weeks into NBA season, injuries continue to play an important role. Below are the matchups for Tuesday night in the NBA, with game notes and injuries.

ATLANTA, DENVER (-51/2)

Atlanta forward Joe Johnson is unable to play tonight due to an ankle injury. Johnson has resumed light exercise and leads the team with scoring (22.7ppg) as well as minutes played (40.7mpg).

Johnson is supported by Andray Mahornay (EURASian league's leading scorer) who averages 15.7 mpg and leads the team scoring (19.4 points per game).

Denver joined the NBA at the start of the 2004-2005 season, and Denver has yet to have a roster full of recognizable players together, as of late. Rested players suddenly have the opportunity to shine.

The Nuggets are a wild team that started the season after injuries to Harris, Iverson, and Harris.

The Nuggets are starting the season by playing up and down to the competition as well as having matches decided by a bucket.

SAN ANTONIO @ PHOENIX (Pick), 4 :05 PM ET (NBATV)

Phoenix comes into this game on an 11-game winning streak. Overall, the Suns are strong at 14-1 SU (10-5ATS) since the beginning of the season.

Q. J. Byran (the Suns' power scoring forward) was transferred to Milwaukee. Rondae Toriaf, another important player, was injured in his calf and missed the game against Charlotte.

Q. J. Byran is the leader in points (21.2 ppg), minutes played (40.7 mpg), and second in assists (3.0 apg).

The Lakers are solid in current form and come into this game on a 4--1-1 SU/ATS run that includes three straight wins.

The basics

The Basics will be hosting back-to-back NBA matchups on Tuesday night. TNT will broadcast this evening two 360invitational basketball games. Los Angeles and Phoenix have been in conflict for seven consecutive seasons. The home team has won all but one of those matches. L.A. is determined to make amends and Phoenix lost in the last instance.

Phoenix won 84 to 80 last November, when they defeated the Renoointed Clips, a small Western Conference side-team. I mentioned that the Clippers might be worth a looked at as a 'play' against the Suns, but how effective would they be?

The basics are easy here. The Clipper offense should be successful against the Suns, as Chris Paul is leading a flawed Western Conference team. While you will not be able stop Shaq, it is possible to contain guards Jason Terry (and Sam Cassell). Terry and Cassell don't have the greatest physiques, but they can be very fast and crash the boards. Cassell is a force in the painted area, and should have no trouble with Blake Griffin or Shawn Marion.

There are many other teams worth your attention if you don't want to watch the Suns.  http://sevelace.com/what-are-the-top-6-casino-games-and-why/data togel hari ini Minnesota, New York and Indiana are teams that have worthwhile games tonight that you'll want to watch. The Bulls are also worth a look as a test case. They have played well recently with good reserves, but what they lacked in star power they made up with defense, and big men everywhere. They should also play well in Indianapolis as they attempt to maintain their postseason hopes.

The Western Conference is open. Everybody waits to find out how healthy the Clippers and Warriors are before making their picks. Today's oddsmakers place the Heat at 110 as the 2-point favorite. The Lakers are at 105 as the road favorite, while the Lakers are at 105. The money line has the rest of West at the money line at 105. Miami seems to have the inside track on the NBA's best record so far, but the NBA's toughest road to figure. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.
